Dan is Sworn In
So after receiving my 100th complaint regarding inactivity (I lie, I think only 3 of you noticed my 5 month absence and only 1 of you bothered to write... thanks...) I've decided to dust off the blog with two exciting items:
1. This morning I was sworn in as a member of the Illinois Bar. As most of you know, I've been a licensed attorney in Missouri for a few years, but since I actually live here I may now have to start actually practicing law. Anyone need a lawyer...?
2. This Saturday, Friends of the Chicago River will be hosting the 15th annual Chicago River Day. I encourage everyone who can to attend, I understand it's supposed to be a lovely day to be outside, and that it's a fun event for a worthy cause.
More on the shabby state of the world later...
