Dan Lives!!

I would say that I've been kept off this thing by an unusual combination of hectic work and lack of internet access, but by now I really can't consider that combination of events unusual. In any case, I'm alive and well, except that I'm terribly upset about not having been able to share my thoughts on here. So much has happened, Justice O'Connor will be stepping down, Scott McClellan made a complete fool of himself when confronted with Karl Rove's treasonous outing of Valerie Plame, the Yankees are poised to retake the A.L. East this weekend, Argentina won the Youth World Cup, and of course, the tragic events of a week ago, along with the obligatory rhetoric that ensued.

I'm at the office right now, so I cannot go into much detail on any of these matters, but I wanted to see if I remembered the password to this thing, and to say a quick hello to friends and family who check it. I know I've said this in the past, and that I'll probably say it again in the future, but I'm sorry I've been absent so long, I'll try to post on here more frequently.
